Assignment
The students who will participate in this project are Mohamed Shaban, Riyan el Youbari, Rami Sadiq and Younes Taha. These student. In this assignment a system will be developed where the athletes have to make short sprints from point to point. The athletes have to reach the pawn within a certain time. At the pawn there is a kind of buzzer that indicates if the one who runs is on time or not. In the buzzer is a distance sensor that measures if you have passed the pawn. There are also lights near the system. If the athlete is too late this light will turn red and he/she didn't make it. The speed that the athlete should make it can be changed by means of a switch. The final goal is to increase the reaction speed of the basketball players.
Requirements to be met by the buzzer
Contact with the client
We kept our client very well informed about where we had gone and what we had already made. We did this with the help of movies and sending emails. The client was also very cooperative. For example, when we wanted to order something, we sent a tap to the client and he made it over and we could quickly continue with the project.
The Process and Results
I found this project to be very fun and especially challenging. If I have to be honest this was the most difficult project I had at O and O. During the project we had a few setbacks, but fortunately it always turned out well. I have a lot during this project and I also enjoyed gaining this new knowledge. For the first time in this project I really programmed what I really liked. It took some time to understand everything and to start programming. We have a number of end products which form a whole, as it were. We were the first to make an app.

The name of our app is BPE which stands for Basketball professional experience.
We also had a lot to do with the arduino and programming. We made two arduinos and programmed each one separately. The first one is meant for the light and for reacting to the movement of the basketball players. And the second is meant for the possibility of bluetooth connection, so that we can control the light of the first arduino via our phone for example. At the beginning of the programming I did a lot of research on the internet and YouTube, but unfortunately a lot of what was on YouTube wasn't quite right, so I had to figure it out myself and change it to the right way.

Of course we also have a housing for the arduino's. This housing is relatively solid and has a nice color.
